Legitimate, Cheap, 300MW 532nm Pointers

Where do you find them?

I know eBay is a scammer's paradise. There are 300MW pointers listed on there for $270, claiming they are "the real, stated output". I know they are probably 10MW units.

Does anything at 300MW actually exist for $300?

I would simply like to upgrade to 200MW-300MW in a 532nm. I could build it myself if I knew where to find the compatible parts, unfortunately I have no idea where to find them now. It has been a while since I attempted to source them.

I just don't see how a 1W 808nm diode, crystal set, and PS can possibly cost $1000, just because it is inside of a handheld package. Is someone around the forum building custom units and selling them at more reasonable prices?

High-end lasers carry high-end prices, and there are no exceptions I know of. The Prometheus 300 RPL-style is $700 or something. PM 'pseudonomen137' on laserpointerforums.
