*Thankyou Hodsta, I am soon to be trying a mule for myself :thumbsup:*

I often find myself really wanting a light because I think it meets a perfect need. I have on many occasions found I really didn't like them all that much or they overlap in scope and then sell them on usually for a loss. So I see the mules and think that its a really nice concept, but I'd like to try before I buy (or at least beg on the B/S/T ).

So is anybody willing to lend me their Mule?:thinking:

That certainly would be best in terms of logistics, as a nights assessment(play ) would be enough I reckon and I could return by the following day if in the UK. But as they're so well thought of I guess they will be staying put

What someone in the UK, or even in Hertfordshire!!?

Seriously I would but my girlfriend is already weirded out by my obsession with flashlights and some dude called Don (Don please don't be weirded out!:nana, meeting up with guys in a carpark after work to exchange flashlights, frankly, she might just blow a gasket (o-ring).

Just shell out for one, it'll be the best leap of faith since that "get up and walk" story in the bible. You will love it as long as you have absolutely no need for a hotspot.

It will not replace my TiPDS as an all rounder, but then I generally dont't need a close up worklight, to me it will be my 10% light when I need to light up my tent, my outdoor cooking area, find something lost on the floor or my way in a confined space. If I stumble across a flashaholics swapmeet in a darkened car park than I would prefer my S27 or PDS!:tinfoil:

Seriously - if you are serious, and you offer a serious deposit, I'll seriously consider posting to you.

Hey Ian,

I'm sure you could tempt someone if you can swap locally with someone your XR19 for the Mule for a couple days. :devil: Not sure if you'd be up for that though. Definitely would make for a tempting offer though!

hodsta,i have dealt with Ian and he can be totally trusted.he even offered to send me a AE 24W PL. on approval.great guy,if i had a mule i would do it without hesitation.

Thanks Titan, I've come across Ian's posts before so figured as much, but glad he has other friends willing to meet him in a darkened car park if neccessary.

Hodsta, if you'd consider it we could swap for 2 days, I would special delivery to make sure all is insured and safe. I could send the XR first so you are up one light before you send yours, in fact can I trust you
