I keep this page bookmarked. :D I think the one you want is this one. LAG-52.0-37.0-C

It may be though that you have to do a little sanding on the bezel or the lens to get it to fit. I think Aircraft800 has done it in a mag with that lens so you might look around for that thread.

Edit: I found the link I was looking for. Hope that helps.

Re: WTB:lens

Kaidomain sells such an aspherical lens. I think it's not the same as in the metioned thread but the KD lens works great with XR-Es but not so great with XP-E/G.

yea i was kinda looking for the other one to use in my mag p7 build

Re: WTB:lens

If you want a very tight beam than a P7 isn't the best choice. Better would be a SST-50.

If you use it with a SSC P7 it will split the beams. Unlike ghostbusters you want to cross or unify/solidify the beams. Rayman is right on the point. Aspherical lenses in the 33-37 mm range work great with single die emitters. If you get a lens in the 250-300 mm FL range it will work well with the SSC P7. It does not give you that pencil thin laser beam effect but it will shape up the SSC P7 beam and give more throw and make it "spotty". Here is a link to an inexpensive lens that will work with C and D Mags. http://www.surplusshed.com/pages/item/pl1106.html

Happy Mods!

Re: WTB:lens

250-300mm gives a very very big floody spot. i prefer the lens from kaidomain or dealextreme. with this you can adjust your setup from flood to spot, also with the p7, mc-e, osar. if it is focused you can see clearly all dies from your p7. at this post you can see some picture from a mc-e:

Re: WTB:lens

You can order that exact lens from CVI Melles Griot. The part number is LAG-52.0-37.0-C. The price is $28 plus $6.69 for shipping. Click on the shopping cart symbol above in that link, put the part number I gave in the "Add part number to cart" area, wala!

The old part number was 01LAG123, you can find many references to that here on the forums.

The chepo DX and Kai do fine for a cost effective build, but not quite the quality of the CVI one.

Notice that build you referenced was a single die LED, a P7 looks even funnier with the 4 dies and doesn't throw any further.

Re: MG Lens anyone ?

Did you edit your first post? Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me because I don't recall it originally saying aspherical.

You can find an aspheric lens here
