Hey all,
Just looking on the BatteryJunction site for D Ni-Mh batteries... mucn higher mah capacity than the energizer rechargables... who knew!!
Anyway, the Tenergy D10000 mah batteries were listed at $7.29ea. while the Titanium D 12000 mah were only $6.95. Are the Tenergys more accurate with their mah rating than the Titaniums, or are they just more proud of their product? Been recharging Energizer and Duracell AA's and AAA's for a while now, and am looking into a better Ni-Mh charger and some D cells for a Maglite w/upgraded emitters, and some astronomy equipment, and just want to get the best bang for the buck.
Thanks for the info.

Seems like I've read some good about the Accupower D cells, around here. They're LSDs, to boot. I have no personal experience with any of them, beyond the old Energeezer C-size 'empty cans' I had ten years ago.

I suspect that the Titanium brand cells wold out-perform the Tenergy. Titanium products tend to be middle tear or better if you were to put them on a grading scale. Like maybe a B. Tenergy are only slightly better than the worst you could find. Most would probably give them a D or C- but the experiences vary depending on many factors and levels of expectation.

Either way, I'd suggesting trying to find a D cell that is Low Self Discharge. Seems that this new class of NIMH tech improves user experience with rechargeable cells more than any other possible feature.
