I was just in a local camera shop seeing if it was worth fixing my mom's point & shoot (it wasn't) and noticed they have "Juice" brand rechargeable LiIon CR123 cells (and CR2 cells). Price was $40 for the charger and one cell, $15 for add'l cells.

Anyway, I was hoping some folks here had tried them already. Has anyone else even heard of Juice cells?

As they were 3.6V, I figured they'd burn out my TT-2L. Maybe they'd work in the A2, but maybe they wouldn't fit, and I would probably have to re-resistor the LED ring.
Anyone know if 7.2V would bother the A2's incandescent regulator ckt?

They had a Pelican M6 flashlight, but had not tried the rechargeables in it. I know there used to be, and may still be, a luxeon mod for the M6, though I forget if it is 5W or 1W. I know they'd work in my Arc SLS, and and Arc LS4 in the future. But, the LS is too small for my EDC (slips around in the bag), and the LS4 may have a better (Pila based?) Li-Ion option in the future. Ditto the SF L4/L5, for all I know the Pila works better (longer life?). Also, I have 70 or more CR123s, so I'm in no _rush_ for a rechargeable option. The A2 does chew 'em up though.

There is a Juicebattery.com website but it is just a set of contest rules. Right logo, though. So, I dunno why the cells are at the shop but nowhere to find on Google. Well,I found one mention, but it was for AA NiMH cells and talked entirely about "margeting to gen x/y" and nothing about the batteries. I detest "gen" labels as I never know what they are talking about. Can't even tell if I'm in one of those "gens". Generations make sense for family trees but I don't get how they're supposed to apply to human populations. And, half the time I see a headline about "boomers" I think it's Aussie slang for Kangaroos... and usually end up thinking the article would be more interesting if it had been.
