My HAIII model draws 1.28a my SE draws 1.25a each with fresh batteries.The SE has a TYAJ and I think the HAIII a TWOJ. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/santa.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif
I prefer the TWO tint to the TYA even though it seems brighter.

Is this the current going into the led or the current draw on the batteries?

THe LH has no boost, so the batt current is the same as the LED current minus a very very small draw for the PMW electronics.

Oh. No wonder why it's so bright. It's being driven at 1.2A.
