Light&Motion Stella 120

Got a Stella 120 bilkeligt for christmas. This is th 4 AA version.

With 4 2500mAh NiMh batteries the runtime is about 1 - 1.5 hours.

Do anyone have a tip for batteryreplacements that will give longer runtime?
Batterypacks, NiMh or other?

Quite a lot of the 2500mAh rated batteries produced were bad, and lost most of their charge in a few days.

Try different batteries. Duracell 2650s and Sanyo 2700s would be a good place to start.

I am looking at this light.

I run totally dark trails, and I need to see 200 to 300 feet ahead so I can avoid moose (yep, its a serious and nasty problem up here)

Will the Stella 120 do that?
