Light mounted on spear

I can't be the only one to have mounted a flashlight to a spear. There must be some of you out there that have done this... right?

I'm mean, sure, everyone has a light mounted on their gun.
So what's the strangest thing you have mounted a light on?
BTW, it used for hunting various species of Viperidae (Crotalus atrox, molossus, and scutulatus) at night. Works great.
It's a black Novatac 120P with 2AA tube, mounted in a 1-inch scope ring with a short rail attached to the spear.

I can't say I've ever even thought about using a spear let alone puting a light on one...

I have heatshrink'd a streamlight stylus on an arrow and shot it....It didn't improve its visibility nor trajectory....

Interest concept as well...try something with strobe and video it flying

Zebralight H30 on a vacuum cleaner hose at home, and a Fenix P2D R100 on an engineers vacuum cleaner (for getting dust out of a computer) at work.

but i love the spear idea. and the vaccum cleaner idea lol

with the arrow idea, maybe u can mount a monster thrower on the bow it self lol....

i've seen writing pens that have a weak light coming from the tip of them.

uh....nothing i came up with though my self lol

I've only gone spearing a couple of times and wore a headlamp (boring right?). I've used Photon Microlights for many things tho' from tailights on a broken trailer to my cats collar and I can't remember how many of them I've epoxied onto the underside of frisbees (they make lighted frisbees now of course, I should have gotten a patent as I was doing it 10 years ago )

I almost forgot, they make clear golf balls with a hole through them that you can stick a 1.5" lightstick into. Great fun to sneak onto a golf course at night and whack these around

I was just about to say that I used to mount flashing LED bikelight mods to X-bow bolts and send them up at night. Great, great, great fun!

The Zebra is great because it's so small and right angled. Use a Twofish Lockblock, which allows the Zeeb to face forward. Much easier than having to stick your head under the furniture with the vacuum hose!
