Been perusing the board for a few months now and am getting information overload, so I figured that I'd join and start asking some questions.
I recently lost my belt light after the retaining clip in my V70 holster broke. Was carrying a 6p clone bezel down. Not really sorry to see the light go, was a multi-mode with a reverse clicky UI, an impulse buy to dabble in LED and replace a Stinger DS with battery issues.
Unfortunately, the timing stinks. While I'd love to get myself and early XMas present, I need the light now.
Any recommendations on a budget-minded light? Needs to be, in
particular order of importance:
Sub $100
LED, might try warm tint but any white-ish light is fine
tailcap switch
mometary and clicky preferred
Run CR123
simple UI, hi/lo fine, strobe not needed
RELIABLE. When I press the switch, I need it to go on, stay on for as long as I need it, and turn off when I want it to.
