Hello Folks,

I'm having issues with my Lumapower Incendio V3. I love this light but it has been behaving strangely the last few days. Three times in the last 3 days, the light would not turn on after periods of inactivity (hours of non usage). I had to just keep removing and replacing the battery and untwisting and twisting the head and eventually the light will start working again (after a few minutes of effort). Once the light is working, it seems to be fine and will work for an extended period with no problem...but after extended hours of non usage, the light may or may not work immediately.

Also of note, there is a strange smell in the light when I open it up...it smells similar to a premanant marker and my initial thought was maybe something got fried, but then the light still works. Any advice is appreciated.

The light is being powered by a AW RCR123 battery (this light does support RCR123s).

Thanks!!

Check and clean/lubricate all contact points.
See if the circuit in the battery has tripped, and/or if the battery is dead.
