Lightwave\'s new offerings??
Until 3 minutes ago, I only knew Lightwave offered the 3000 and 4000 models. These use several 5mm LED's and run for a very loooooong time. These make then, IMO, well suited for emergency preparedness kits. Anyway, in searching for their website to reference in another link I was surprised to find they seem to have a lot of new products out there, including a couple Lux-based ones using a "reversed Lux" (it's on the lens, like one of the Peli's I forget the name of right now). A search on CPF revealed very few info on these (and mainly concentrated on the 3000 and 4000). Without more preamble:
Lightwave's homepage
So, has any one seen/used any of these? Comments, real-life experiences, etc.
I still think the 3000 and 4000 series are what I will eventually get for catastrophy illumination.
