Liteflux LF2 Flicker Problems. Quick Fix?

I've had my LF2 for a little less than a month, and up to now I've been really pleased with it. Yesterday it developed an annoying problem.

Sometimes, when I have it in switch position 2 (P2), it will flicker. This happens intermittently; sometimes it will work fine, other times it will flicker and even go out entirely. When the problem occurs, I hear a high-pitched squeal/whine coming from the light.

I've tried relubing the threads and cleaning all the contact surfaces I can reach, but it doesn't seem to help.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Does anyone know of a quick fix I could try, or should I contact Khoo about replacement? Regarding that, does anyone know where to find his return policy?

hello jnj1033,

if your LF2 P2 position has a higher output than P1, may be it could be weak battery? please try a new battery or try fully charged 10440 (4.2V) if you have one.

also it would help if you have a digital multimeter to measure the voltage of the weak battery (if it is indeed a battery issue)
