LiteFlux LF5XT momentary use - delay before turning on. How to adjust?

I have two of these lights but one of them has a delay when I use the momentary function - press and hold to get maximum output, let go and it turns off. Basically what we might call a typical tactical "mode".

One of my lights has an immediate response and lights up. The other one has about a 1.5 second delay before it turns on.

I tried reading the instructions but I just can't, for the life of me, figure out how to adjust the delay (if there is even such a thing). Call me slow, but I find the instructions to be very difficult to understand. I actually don't even need a light that programs. Heh. But I digress...

Can someone walk me through either resetting the light (if that is one solution) or how to adjust the delay on it?

Hello, you have to activate the momentary funktion. The light after the 1.5 sec. delay is not momentary, it's the shortcut to max.

1. turn on the light.

4xC + PH for the function settings.
(Now the light flashes 1 time every 2 seconds)

3xC + PH to enter the momentary setting
(now it flashes 1 times per second)

1xC to change the setting to momentary on
(now it flashes 2 times per second)

3xC +PH to save the setting
(now it's back to 1 time every 2 seconds)

3xC to go to normal mode

Good Luck!

Hi Rumble,

the one that has a delay is, i suspect, because momentary is NOT turn on.
to turn on momentary, switch on the light,
do 4C + PH to enter the function setting mode.
you will now see a single flash every 2 seconds.

do 3C + PH to enter into momentary function mode.
now please note how fast the light is flashing. 1Hz flash means momentary is OFF, 2Hz flash means momentary is ON.

do 1C to toggle between OFF and ON.

save the setting by 3C + PH. now the light is back to a single flash every 2 seconds.

do 3C to exit the function setting mode.

hope this helps.

regards,
khoo
