Newbie here. Can I use lithium batteries in an Inova X1? The literature does not mention anything but alkaline. How about lithium in a regular Mag Lite?

My room mate runs his X1 on a lithium battery, been doing so for about 4 months, no problems.

Maglite AA I assume? You can run a pair of lithiums in there but with a stock bulb its worth less. Wait the Maglites in stock form are worthle...well are not too good.

Just my 2 cents.

Mine fried at the 5 month mark using a lithium battery. I don't know if the battery was the contributing cause or not, but after Inova replaced my X1, I'm just going to use alkalines in it from now on.

I'm on my fourth lithium in my x1, no problems here.

My dog loves to chase that spot of light.

Thanks for the replies. I'll take it as a firm maybe on the X1.

Edit: Just got an Email from Inova. They don't recommend Lithiums in the X1.
