Lithium batteries on airplanes?

I am going to be flying to Japan soon, and am wondering if there are any problems with taking AA lithium batteries with me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif

I don't think there will be any problems with the lithium batteries....I flew to Hong Kong once with about 20 cr123 batteries in my backpack /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
