Lithium cells to UK from elsewhere, will they be received?

I think as soon as you order from big shops you'll recive your battreies...i read somewhere that is still possible to ship dangerous items under some specified packaging conditions!

I feel for you blokes. But i have a different problem in Switzerland. If the value is above 60 CHF, including shipping costs, I get hit with 18 CHF Swiss Post processing fee and tax. The processing fee is for cutting open the box to find the invoice to charge me tax. I would rather pay shipping (and it is cheaper) so I've been making small purchases. So far, I am able to buy Li-ions. Not sure how long that will last.

In the UK, if you buy from an non EU country, you have to pay VAT at 20% of the total price paid plus a handling fee on any orders over £15 excluding P&P , it use to be £18
