Lithiums for TLE-5EX ??

I have been using mine with Energizer Lithiums for a couple months now with no problems. Love it!

I'm curious if anyone has used a Lith-Ion with a dummy cell with any luck???

I've used mine with lithium primary cells, no problem. The light was on for a good 30 minutes straight. I didn't notice any dimming although the light did get warm-hot but not enough to be too hot to hold.

Was it any brighter than regular E2 Lithiums, NiMH or Alkalines?

Haven't checked, but I can throw some Alky's in there and see. I can't find my NiMh charger though to check those. I imagine the Lithiums I have would be the same as E2's, open voltage is 1.9V, probably about the same as E2s.

I tried some Duracells back-to-back with lithium primaries, by my eye, no difference.

I'm assuming one dummy AA cell and a 14500? And was it brighter than 2 E2's (Energizer Lithuims)? Thanks :)

I wasn't using l-ion rechargeables; I used 2aa lithium primaries with 1.9A open voltage each vs. 2 duracells.
