Has anyone tried lithium primary cells in their MiniMag with the TLE-5EX yet? Would the drop-in be over-driven or damaged?
Thanks
Thanks
Was it any brighter than regular E2 Lithiums, NiMH or Alkalines?I've used mine with lithium primary cells, no problem. The light was on for a good 30 minutes straight. I didn't notice any dimming although the light did get warm-hot but not enough to be too hot to hold.
I'm assuming one dummy AA cell and a 14500? And was it brighter than 2 E2's (Energizer Lithuims)? ThanksI've used mine with lithium primary cells, no problem. Oh, ok.. I read it wrong.. It seems a 14500 and a dummy cell WOULD fry it..I wasn't using l-ion rechargeables; I used 2aa lithium primaries with 1.9A open voltage each vs. 2 duracells.
