Hi Guys

First Post.

I live in the UK and have just purchased a Inova T4. Looking forward to getting my hands on this Flashlight.

Can any of you guys recommend me what will be the best way to convert the power supply from the US plug that will come with the charger?

Will the cheap and cheerful US to UK plug converters do the job?

Thanks

Inova produces their own international adapter kits.

You can get them from Inova themselves or a retailer.

Example

the inova charger runs off ot 12 volts. all you need is a 12 volt converter from your uk outlet. the connector is a 2 pin trailer connector harness.

I would have just cut the two prong plug and fitted a UK three prong plug on.
Will the charger be ok with 220v ?

I bought a 300va 240v- 110v converter Maplin had on offer a few months ago for my 110v rechargeables.

It is big and beefy but I thought that it would take anything I could throw at it and it was cheeper than the 200va as it was on offer :D

dont know. i try not to guess any voltage over 12 volts because not being sure could catch on fire. go to the uk version of walmart and buy a ciggerette lighter adapter that fits in your uk outlet and use the cig plug adapter that comes with the light. or just install the light in your car

on any electrical device that is meant to be run from the wall plug, there is a plate showing general data like:
input power,
output power,
.
.
.

If it works with our 220V, then the input should show something like: 110-220 V AC
You might still need an adapter from US to Your plugs.

The charger should have printed on it somewhere what voltage it can be used with .... its kinda like the norm. Even the cheaply made chargers/adapters made in China have that information on them.
