Has anyone tried or succedded in this? I was thinking it would make for a nice compliment to it.
Is there enough room for the two stage switch from the shoppe to be put into it?
I only have a clicky on mine.

i am thinking about trying to create one...but my modding skills are underwhelming. i might be able to do it, but it would take a lot of time...and would probably appear rather low quality.

if someone invents on, i will just BUY it!

This question has come up a number of times, and AFAIK they don't exist. I was personally hoping for a PWM daughter board that I could cram into the module, but I don't think that exists either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Does anyone know if there is enough room for one of these will fit into the twisty? I don't have a twisty, so I don't know if there is enough room or not.
I think if there was enough room it would work well.

It would fit, but it wouldn't work.

The twisty doesn't switch on and off by making contact at the bottom of the battery. Instead, there's a spring there which maintains constant grounding of the battery to the twisty. The threads are anodized and don't conduct electricity, but when you rotate the twisty enough (or push it), the bottom of the battery tube (which is not anodized) makes contact with a ring of material inside the twisty (which is also not anodozed).

One approach might be to make a FF type switch, but it would need to be in the form of a ring instead. Maybe something involving wavy washers would work, but they would have to be awfully narrow to be able to fit.

Has any one verified that a longow responds correctly to a two stage switch? Some electronics simply stop working when presented with the lower voltage that results from the resistor in the two stage switch.

Just use a 15 ohm resistor between the end of the battery and the edge of the battery tube to check it out.
