Yes, the Dorcy bulb is PR base, plug and play. Now mind you, although it has an extreme spot, it is still only a 5mm worth of total light /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Only good for emergency lighting.

Except my two D cell nightlight is now over 10,000 hours (14 months) on the original cells......

I do have a beta light which is now 'switched on' for 20 years. Does that count?
Of course it much dimmer as a MiniMag. But still useable.

And the ActionLight1 had useable light for some 300-500 hours on the lowest level. More or less constant over most of the time. Enough light for mayn tasks and even walking.
