Any recommendations I have the akoray k-106 and I am looking for a great thrower because the akoray does not throw as good as I hoped

I don't really like the flood to throw lights and deerlight is out of the budget

Any different throwers from like dx or some other website

If you want something small like the Akoray that throws better you will need an aspheric. Buy the Sipik SK68 for $8. Take the aspheric lens out and put it in an Ultrafire BJ08A (Google it to find dealers) it usually goes for about $16. It takes both single AA and 14500. It's more or less the same size as the Akoray that you currently have. It's made better as well.

An iTP C7T or C7R with an XRE and deep reflector throws quite nicely- Shiningbeam has them for around $25-$27.

Ultrafire A10 uses the best "short" XRE reflector for throw I have ever seen. This would destroy most XPG/XML lights of similar size as far as throw.

ITP SA1 with the R2 is one of the best every day carry lights I've seen. Throw is rated up with the best & great regulation on AA or 14500. really a no brainer for around 30 bucks at Shiningbeam.

I got sick of my Romisen RC-N3 going out on me when I needed it. It works great on 2 AA but to big to carry in pocket then.

Balder Se-1. The xp-e version draws 1.8A at the tailcap on 14500. By far overdriven, won't use high mode for longer times...

The Trustfire R5-A3 is a decent budget thrower and if you get the KD version you can do the strobe delete mod.
