Looking for a 24v driver

I've looked around and can't find what I need. I have a 24v cell pack which I'd like to use for emergency lighting. I want to drive a single LED at between 350 and 500Ma.

Does such an animal exist off the shelf?

Yes. You can go cheap and wait with DX MR16 type drivers, they offer several. Ledsupply offers several drivers some with dimming options. Best in the business with fast shipping. I have used their buck drives on solar/sla feeder lights that run 12hr/365nights a year. They also sell a big selection of emitters/hardware and if you need assistance can answer any question. The Shark Buck is rated to 24V recommended, 25V max. You can get the 1A version and use the on-board trim pot to adjust the output to your desired level.

I've looked at all of the drivers on the list, and most seem to be for multiple LEDs or the output amperage is too high.

If it works out, this thing should run for weeks straight, with enough useable light for a medium sized room. I'll post pictures if successful!
