Looking for a particular video and light

While reading and learning, I ran across a video of some first person demo beamshots of a strong light, being shined from what appeared to be a high balcony (in city), on to various buildings a at least couple of blocks away. Then yesterday I saw stills from that same video - I think maybe on DX. Does anyone recognize what I'm talking about ? Or maybe remember the type of light ? (should have bookmarked it)
