Looking for the brightest LED

what is the brightest LED flashlight out there under 8"
long. so far i am stuck on the Inova X5. price is not
a factor.

You may like the new surefire L4. There area also other custom made ones.

The Surefire L4 is hands-down, the brightest, non-custom made LED flashlight under 8" (It's 5" long). The output of the L4 is 65 lumens. The output of the Inova X5T is 10-15 lumens. To say the L4 is impressively bright is an understatement.

As said before, the L4 currently is the (commercially available) LED light pumping out the most photons... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

For anything brighter you will have to go to a modded light, like a creation from Mr Bulk , Elektrolumens or a DIY longtail McLux ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif So many choices.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hey Sean, where is the best place to purchase an L4? Sure Fire has NO reference to that light on there website!

There is one available on the B/S/T forum, and then the best bet is to contact the CPF Sponsors...you can see all the banners in the Banners forum. Most of the sponsors that carry the L4 have it on their respective web sites.
