It's for my Surefire U2 - one of the best flashlights in the world. I'm currently using Surefire CR123 lithium batts, but I want something rechargeble. Cost is NOT a concern because I am only purchasing once. Any suggestions? It has to be:

1: State-of-the-art quality
2: Extremely low self discharge (better than primaries)
3: It must be protected cells (un-protected ones are problematic I hear and skinnier and will likely produce rattle.. and I don't like my U2 to rattle!:grin2:)
4: HighestCapacity available (Surefire CR123 can do 1700mah)
5: Made by world famous companies/manufacturers.

Also can you please suggest a state of the art Charger to go with it? Thanks in advance! :D :D

I don't think 2 Rechargeable 123 cells will work in the U2. Wit the voltage I would think it would fry the U2. Depending on the generation (the diameter of the inside isn't the same with all) of your U2, you might be able to use a protected 18650.
