Need a LED that is visible at 180 degrees.
Small, ARC AAA small or? somewhat smaal.
Battery operated.
Waterproof (relatively) not dive proof.
Needs to be attached on the outboard end of a pole when a yacht is at anchor,
for nite visibility.
Would be nice if it had a plastic holster as well to attach
to the pole so the light could be removed for maintenance.

how would temperature affect visibility? and how do you plan on surviving 180 degrees anyway? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

the arc aaa isn't a 180degree led light, the led is recessed in the reflector, so it pushes it's light forward.

how big is the yacht? you will likely need something a little brighter anyway...

The light will be at the end of a tether pole for a dinghy tending a 65' trawler.
The light will not be a running or under anchor, but a courtesy light to identify a dinghy at tether.
Thanks
