Dang, not even a year old. Used in an elevator at 3 pm, gone from it's EDC left front jeans pocket at 5PM. I was running around very busy, 2 homes, my office and 3 car rides, and, yes, lots of searching and asking of the people involved, no dice. A $115 mistake that Dan at TW will solve for me. At least I have the original E2e head, so TW's combo made sense for me. So, will the new unit have the scalloped head and clickie?
Here's a photo of the lost light, if you should see a lonely looking E2e somewhere...

edit: 2018, I recall I found the light soon after, and still have it - or at least, all the components. IIRC, it fell off the clip into the car passenger seat/tunnel well, and the car owner reported not seeing it. Of course, you needed a light to see it down there. The replacement from TW had a scalloped bezel, but the standard tailswitch. Still have that, too.

I'm guessing the light's finder will probably *really* like it - until it's time to change batteries. Then they'll remove the tailpiece and wonder why the batteries don't come out. Then they'll remove the head, dump them out, and go "what the {vulgar term for intercourse} are those things?!?". Then they'll find out they cost $14 apiece locally, and throw the light away or throw it in their kitchen garbage drawer, forever forgetting about it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Hope it shows up - back in your hands where it belongs. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

At one stage I had lost the L1 (serial number 5) personally given to me by PK, the L4 and another SureFire that had me almost in tears so I know how you feel. I did find them all though after turning the house upside down.
I've actually lost an E2 due it's pathetic clip (and my drunken state at the time and a cab ride)

Most of the flashlights I use about the house end up on my bedsidetable. It also happens that I move a lot in my sleep and I knocked some off and they rolled under my bed right into the corner! I now check this location first. There is usually a SureFire there.

I bet your E2e+KL1 will turn up just after you've had it's replacement delivered...

I hope that Al's right.
Then you'll have the Flashaholics dream
TWO of them
