Looks like the Titainim from battery junction are all gone, any other really low cost ones out there. Only reason I don't buy ore eneloops is I want the kids toys to be different than mine.

Rayovac Hybrids or Kodaks are the lowest cost LSD's around my neck of the woods. Both are around $10.00 a 4 pack. Like a lot of others, I just stocked up on the $6.45 a pack Duraloop Target deal before it ended.

Why not just mark the batteries that are to be used in your kids' toys?

I bought some Duracell precharged LSD for $6 something for a 4 pack. The ones with the white around the top are re branded Sanyo Eneloops. This was at Target. Not sure if sale is still good.

i bought 6 /4 packs of the tenergy ready to use batteries opened 2 packs none are ready to use had to charge them first. is that normal for these

as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. on 10-6 i put them in the charger a la crosse 900, charged 1.31 volts. today they are 1.29!!!!! looks like eneloops from now on. at least they will charge to 1.5 volts and hold longer!!!!

Hi, if you are referring to Tenergy R2U batteries (white with orange lower part), I have had very mixed results. Earlier this year, I purchased 24 R2Us and it seems that most if not all do not hold charge reliably for long duration that one would expect from a LSD battery. I have not done any testing (although I have the Powerex C9000 charger) but from practical experience, these batteries don't last very long with my kids toys - not from running the battery low but rather needing a new set after periods of inactivity from Xbox 360 and Wii controllers.

In addition to Eneloops, if you intend to purchase a few 4-packs of AA, you might consider the MAHA Imedion LSD batteries. (I believe MAHA is a Powerex brand - but I could be wrong.) These are great LSDs and you can purchase them from Thomas Distributing. They don't offer free shipping but you get a 4AA battery case which comes in very handy.

I had posted this information on a different post this week but here it is again. This is great information on LSD batteries - performance or better yet charge "shoot out".
