When AW gets his C cells back in stock I will be interested in buying a couple from him for a P7 Mag mod. The only problem is I like to run my lights down until they are dead. From what I hear it is not advisable to have the protection on the cell being activated frequently. The protection also doesn't cut in soon enough for my liking and could potentially damage the cell if it isn't charged soon after (is that true?). What I'm looking for is a board that cuts in sooner at say 5.5v in a 2S configuration and can be "activated" frequently. Does such a thing exist? I am willing to sacrifice a little bit of runtime for the long life of my cells. Overcharge protection isn't necessary because I am planning on having the PCB in the light and charging the cells separately with a hobby charger.
