Can you give us the part number for the shotkey diode, because I work for a manufacuring plant that makes laser sensors and industrial controls, so I might have a couple laying around.

1N5819HW is the generic P/N. Diodes Inc. is the manufacturer.

BTW: I need some of these too if someone has a source for these.

So, you really want to do this?

I need to check again to make sure we can pull everything together.

I will try to post a picture of the kit laid out on the table so you can see all the parts.

I will also need to add this to the website. This might happen later today.

This is a one time offer. We will not make any more of these once they are sold out.

Later this week I will probally start a thread showing how to put everything together. Diode suppliers, CPF member provided tips, etc should be added to this, yet to be created, thread.

I will post again with a "go, no go" on this later today.

Peter, the diode availability should eventually clear up. If we buy these kits, would you be willing to allow us to send a SASE to fill our kits once availability is reasonable again?

Somehow, I think if you and dat2zip can not find reels of these, we poor hobbyists will have a really difficult time finding this part and would have to pay shipping on top of it.
