Hello,

I recently bought a Thor II V2 from the Lumintop Aliexpress store. Upon receiving it, the manual shows different specs than the flashlight is supposed to have (see pictures). It is showing 500 lumens vs 350. Has anyone else seen this? Is my flashlight legit? Thanks in advance!

Lumintop responded to me via social media and stated that the light is legit but the manual is misprinted. They were very professional and apologetic in their response.

I would expect 350 lumens to be a realistic output spec, especially with an 18350. 500 lumens is a suspect number. Then again, the real measurement spec that counts for LEPs is the candela (intensity) rating.

I've heard some horror stories about Lumintop on AliExpress, like someone bought a "Thor I" LEP and got an LED model instead. There was no Thor I on the Lumintop main site. Seems it was all miscommunication but the buyer felt he was being scammed. Eventually worked out.

Enjoy your Thor!

More and more LEP flashlights can reach 500 lumens or more, but Lumintop isn't particularly on point when it comes to specifications.
From our tests at 1Lumen, we often see that our measurements don't match up with their spcs.
The Thor 2 v2 measured just below 300 lumens after 30 seconds.
