Lummi US distributer?

Have been reading posts about the Lummi RAW flashlights all
morning, I am intrigued! Very cool (perhaps impractical in wet
weather) looking lights, and I see everybody who owns one is
happy

I know you can order from their website, but do they have any
distributors in the USA?

If I order from the UK, will Paypal convert to USD or do I have to
convert myself?

Does anyone know from their own experience how long it takes
for delivery to the East Coast US?

I am hot for the Ti!!

No, unless you consider distribution through B/S/T private sellers. :naughty:

Yes, Paypal will do the work for you, but at a cost. They will take the conversion rate and also a "hidden" exchange fee that will be the current exchange rate plus about 5-6% more, in my experience. It isn't until you put all the items in your cart, sign into paypal, and get one step from completing the order that the REAL cost of the exchange rate shows up.

About two weeks, but you must consider each lummi is made to order. Meaning they have to take your driver/emitter choice and install it into the body. They also take your tritium color selection and install it in the light. They may also have to wait for other components to arrive (swivels, nano clips, etc.) So there are NO GUARANTEES you will get your light inside of three weeks... probably longer. But well worth the wait!

It's easy and painless to order a light direct from Rob (Lummi). I have four and will probably buy more unless he "fancies" them up too much. Sure, you will loose a percentage on the exchange rate but you probably will no matter where you exchange your money. I've ordered directly using Paypal on all occasions. My favorite and most used lights (RAW NS, Ti, Da and my recent Al).

wouldnt worry to much about using it in the wet i clean mine by washing it in the sink never had any problems or moisture in it yet

Yikes!! that's $258.00 if I got the Ti + the green locators and
one extra battery! Didnt calculate the shipping, or Paypals "fee".

Is it really that good?

For this price, it would really have to be a work of art

Would choosing the NS over the Ti be a obvious downgrade?
I mean, the price difference is quite large, would I end up kicking
myself if I went with the NS?

Yes Ti is that good...Just get the NS version and avoid the sticker shock. Do a little searching and keep reading on the Lummi forums for info and comparison between this lights. The NS raw and the TI versions are pretty much water resistant since they have o-rings in the battery tube and in the lens, the "RAW" CR2 version does not have o-rings in the lens and makes it more prone to water filtration..

I believe there are 5 slots, and I was going to order all 5 locators.
I did not see a option for 4, only 1, or 5.
Am I on the same page, or not understanding something?

I dont understand why they only have 1 or 5 as options!? Why not

NS:

or
5 for 25GBP

Ti:
1 for 6GBP
and
4 [more] for 20GBP
