HI guys OK I have been Doing a Lunasol for a few weeks now. I have opted for a Lanyard carry around the neck. For one thing it is a very convenient way to carry the (any) flashlight.

When I first ordered the Lunasol 27 I figured I wanted a ART OF THE HIDE holster from Matt. He does wonderful work. I was not able to come to terms with a bezel down holster for the Lunasol and to be frank Matt want a lot of cash So I have pretty much forgotten all about a Holster for the Lunasol 27.
If you guys have seen anything nice please post a link to it I am still interested.
OK all that said I still need to figure a way to carry the Lunasol 20.
I have just gone through All of my holsters. Some are from Matt some are form other sources.
I found an absolute gem among stuff I have and figure that you guys should know about this.
The Holster I am talking about is the Concealco SF100.
It is designed for small 1 inch diameter flashlights. The Lunasol fits this description perfectly wouldn't you say?
Over at the concealco web site they call this a SEMI CUSTOM holster. Just like the flashlight. Concealco makes these to order and as a result they can take a week or two to ship. IMHO This wait is completly worth it.
They charge under $20.00 for this and they will imprint your initials for free if you ask nicely.
The Holster on the left is the SF 100.

IMHO there is not a better deal out there in flashlight holsters. They have a fine adjustment to create a perfect fit and to adjust the tension on the light. Look I love the fancy AOTH stuff. But in this day and age there is a lot to be said for the basic utility of a Concealco leather holster for $20.00 vs a $150 ray skin beauty made by Matt.

A Light as nice as the Lunasol 20 and 27 deserves a holster if the light is going to be carried (which it should IMHO). A SF100 offers great protection for the Lunasol 20 and easy access. How does it get better.

OK guys that it. My search for a lunasol 20 holster is over. Now I need to find something good for the Lunasol 27.
What are you guys doing? Are you even EDCing the Light? Somehow I doubt that the majority of Lunasol users are exactly that Users. More likely they are Lunasol Owners.

Im trying to contact Kazu, he makes very good holsters and his prices cant be beat, but he seems to be unreachable this days...Thanks for that info Mofo, for a holster with a closing flap but this one looks nice..

This is my holster solution for the LunaSol at the moment. It made out of "ballistic" nylon, has velcro on the top flap and also a clip. 2 types of straps on the back...normal nylon loop for vertical belt carry and 2 elastic loops for horizontal carry. Fits like a glove , and the clip has a bit of adjustment. May fit other lights too. The best part about this holster is the price, $4 bucks.

I like the Concealo, but it's too short, and leaves a good part of the light exposed. I prefer my holsters to have flaps. But at the very least, the Concealo should have an option for more material, rather than a small flap of leather covering only part of the light. (well, most of the light in the case of a small one cell light like the Lunasol 20). But that's what makes the concealo so affordable, it's not customized really at all.

Kazu does some nice work, but it won't fit like a glove like Matt's AOTH Holesters.

My Lunasol 27 is a daily user - it's clipped inside my left front pocket at the back. Comfortable, easy to carry, and in instant access.

I don't wear belts, so holsters are dead out for me - but some of these sure do look nice. Pocket-carry is the way to go for me, though! :)

The 27mm head has me prowling the B/S/T boards for a Ti S27 PD now, too...........

I own some of KAZU's stuff and I did not find it to be especially impressive. OK for the price. Certainly less expensive than AOTH. When it comes to exposed flashlight IMHO with about 3/4 of an inch at the top of the light exposed IMHO this is just right. It means there is enough flashlight for me to grab and as a result I can easily pull it out of the holster. If these lights weren't working I wouldn't mind a flap. But when accessing the light all the time a flap gets in my way and makes it more cumbersome to take it out of the holster. I have holsters with flaps and they don't work for a working flashlight at least not for me anyway.
I have at least 10 hunks of flashlight leather and so far from a pure utility point of view the Concealco leather works best for me.

The Nylon holdster loks OK but again it has a flap making removal more cumbersome than a holster without...

And you are right they aren't custom. They are just made to order. The same is true of Don's flashlights. Except they aren't even made to order.
Just shipped to order.

I wear a storm-proof fanny pack everywhere, so mine goes trough the belt of the pack...I wear it on the inside of the jeans at times but once you sit on the car and pout the seat-belt on , its a little uncomfortable...

O most definetly its cumbersome, specially this model that has 2 types of closures, but again makes me feel safe since its riding on the fanny pack... I guess theres a holster for every need. Matt's holsters are of very high quality and the LunaSol more than deserves being wrapped in that exotic leather, but for now nylon will do..

Yaesumofo, the art of hide is beautiful. Great find. I didn't see the SF 100 you mentioned, can I just ask them for one?

 I'm a Lunasol 20 user. I've been carrying it everyday since I got it. I'm a consultant and I wear suit to work, so I carry it inside my suit jacket. A little easier for me. On the weekend, I usually carry my maxpedition fatboy bag, so I carry it in my bag. I usually don't carry a flashight on my hips ... doesn't look right with the way I dress.

I'm not a big fan of nylon holsters after having two of the belt loops ripping off at the seams. Even one that was double stitched.

It's leather or nothing for me.
