LX2 clip installed on L1?

is it possible to install the newer style (deep carry) clip from an LX2 on an L1 Lumamax?

on another note, do you guys think the L1 is getting a bit dated? is having the circuitry in the body less reliable?

I would think an E1B clip would be more appropriate, being another single cell light. And, yes, supposedly surefire is releasing an updated L1, the LX1.

I'd agree that the E1B clip would be a better fit. The LX2 clip will fit, just that it will hang off the end of the light just a little bit and rub the tailcap when twisting on/off.
