M*g 85 current draw using 9 AAs?

Anybody can do this test for me?
What is current draw, run time and forwarded voltage to 1185 bulb when using 9 fully charged NiMH AAs (after one hour rest) rated at 1800 to 2200 mAh?
How about 10 cells?
Any test result greatly appreciated.

Here's a link with almost exactly what you are looking for. IIRC, The current was 3.1-3.2A. Pretty close to spec. 10 Cells will bump the voltage up by the increment of the cell voltage and push current maybe another 0.05-0.07A. You may be able to extrapolate from the data I provided to get 1800mAh info.
