M*g colors

I found this interesting- I downloaded the M*g catalog which shows that the AA and D models come in 7 different colors, but the C model only comes in black. I've seen most of these colors in the AA and D models, but in my local Home Depot right before Christmas I saw the 2C model in black, silver and purple so it would seem that the "official" catalog is not quite correct.

Some of the bigger retailers have enough volume to order thousands of each color in some sizes.
Apparantly magg will do custum colors with big enough orders.

Perhaps a group buy on hot pink 3c cell sizes? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yellowlaugh.gif

According to my info mag will do whatever color you want in minimum quantities of 10,000.

Yeah... I've definately seen 2Cs in colors other than black. I'd snatch up a purple one if I saw one for ~$15 to do the 3x123 mod.

I gave 2 purple ones as Xmas gifts this year. With all the K-state fans, apparently there was quite a bit of fighting over them.

I've seen lots of Purple 2C's at Home Depot. In fact, there were more purple ones than black ones.

My local HD had a couple of purples right before Christmas but none afterward.

I dropped by the local big Ace hardware store today. They had a big assortment of M*gs but all of the C models were black.
