Recently, M I K worked on an E2DL head for me. He removed the teeth from it so that it looks like the KX2 head. The head came back to me looking like a new factory head.
M I K also modified an E2DL tailcap for me. He ground off the outer ring that sticks out past the switch. He then highly polished the bare metal that was left where he removed metal. This leaves a flared section near the switch.
The modified tailcap is much slicker sliding into or out of a pocket. It is still much easier to hold onto than an E1B tailcap. It is very easy to use in a cigar style grip and the switch is much easier to get to compared to the stock E2DL tailcap.
I am very happy with both the modified head and tailcap.
