M3 Streamlight led upgrade?

I am real happy being a part of this fine forum. I would like to ask you all if there is an led upgrade for my M3 Streamlight? I thank you all in advance and hope I can get some good input thank you again.

Check with this dude... I think I saw a posting a few months back about an LED upgrade for all the Insight and Streamlight incandescent weapon mount lights

Heard they were 150 lumens - 4 hour run - and included strobe with no mods - just drop in the new all aluminum module in place of the crappy factory bulb and plastic reflector/bezel

We have an amazing LED upgrade designed and tested for the M3/M3X, M6/M6X, X2/X2L line of bulb lights.


150 lumens, 4 hour battery life, strobe, and auto off capability.


Installed in 5 seconds... unscrew factory bezel, drop out the bulb, and screw in our 1 piece aluminum design.


Unfortunately, we are still finalizing patents and will not be releasing the product until 2011 SHOT show.


I recommend you wait until we have a product released. I heard that Insight themselves showed an LED upgrade but it is not in production and with Insight just bought by L-3 Communications who knows. Also did not have strobe and was not a single piece unit. Rumor has it that it violates Inova patents as well... not sure though.

So it looks like we have to wait about a year for a new product from them although he hints that insight is looking to release their own product for it. So we may have 2 products on the market within about a year or so.

Darn, I was really hoping to find a dropin replacement for my OLD M3... I think I'll just buy the SF X300 and just get it right the first time
