Mac's tri module

So,
smart guy here bought a tri-edc module planning on setting-up in
a SST-50 EDC already in hand. Well.. does not fit (who'da thunk it).
module with thicker glass and lens even does not begin to go far enough forward
to reach inner front rim and even then its too far forward to have battery connect.
Anybody done this swap before??
See what happens when clicking pp before engaging last firing neuron.

Perhaps Mac will sell you the parts needed to complete a forward host for your new module. A quick read of the original Tri-EDC thread would have shown you that the Tri-EDC host is shorter than the standard.

Well, I guess, in true CPF tradition, how bout one of each?
If this is too greedy for proper et-a-cat, the Ti.
