mag lens mix up

Hi All Just purchased 2 lenses 1x Borofloat + 1x UCL for my first incan and p7 mods, accidently mixed up the lenses can anyone tell me how tell the difference between the two?

Isn't the Borofloat a little bit thiner than the UCL. I'm not sure but I think so. Another method would be to get your brightest light an shine on the lenses and then look at the reflection on the wall. The brighter reflection is that one of the Borofloat.

Hi rayman Yes one is marginally thinner than the other but it is the slightly thicker lens which reflects much more when i shine a light directly onto the lens, so i guess this one is the borofloat.

If you hold the UCL under a light and turn it slowly from side to side, you will see the anti-reflective coating, either green or blue hue.

Hi aircraft800 I tested the lens today and yes it definitely has a distinctive blue glow where as the other lens is very shiny and reflective.I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat.
