Hi all,
I happen to own several old D Cell Mag lites. I have (two) three cell and (one) five cell Mag lite. Are the LED upgrades kits/LED bulbs worth consideration ? I have read both positive and negative comments (elsewhere) about upgrades. I am inclined to believe the benefits (extended battery life, ruggedness of bulb, etc.) might outweigh the negatives. Also, if worth doing, are the Mag lite brand of drop in LEDs the way to go ? I would very much appreciate hearing from CPF members who have upgraded their older Mag lite. Thanks.
