brightnorm...I posted something about this light about a week or so ago. It looks pretty neat, but it runs on button cells (LR44), so "bright" run-time would probably be pretty short lived. If they made something like this in 1XAAA with a step-up, I'd definitely be interested. As a rule of thumb, I usually try to stay away from button cell lights...the capacity is just too low for any decent bright run-time.

yes, i say that too. but i think it was in popular mechanics...

it looks very much like an arc...

My apologies for not seeing your post, I checked SEARCH under TracLite and didn't get anything. I too don't care for button cells though I tolerate them in my Photon II and other similar lights.
