It reads on the Maha C9000 manual, that you should only use Maha's own plug adapter with the charger. Using a third party plug adapter would void the warranty.

But I got this plug adapter from DX.
Are there any real dangers in using the one from DX?

The Maha MHS-TC400 adapter set isn't all that expensive in itself, but with the shipping costs it'd be over $40. Which is just too much for a plug adapter.
Haven't found a place with lower shipping costs to Europe, either.

So dare I use the DX adapter?

The DX web page doesn't load for me right now but those Maha adapters are simply plugs to change the shape of the electric outlet. Except the situation when they physically break or short I can see no situation when they can do any harm. End even if they short, this shouldn't harm the charger. The only important difference between the plugs may be presence of the ground wire but the C9000 (at least mine) doesn't use it anyway. Obviously you do it at your own risk but if the power supply allows it (e.g. is 100V-240V), I don't see anything to be afraid of.

BTW, the C9000 sold in Europe should already have the power supply in the appropriate version.
