MaxFlex - Is switch switching full input current?

Does anyone know whether the maxFlex momentary switch connections are switching the full input current, or is it a just a low current/signal route?

I ask because it seems quite hard to find compact switches that are rated at 1.5A+, and any sort of microswitch is out of the question.

The control switches on all the *flex drivers carry current only when pressed/clicked in and typically around 300microamps. So, yes, they only carry a control signal, NOT the full input current.
