specifically 18650 or 14500, i know the capacities are overinflated but if i were to find the actual cap from data here or experimenting what would you reccomend as the maximum discharge from an 18650?

i imagine a spiderfire 18650 to have 2400mah, could i draw 2800 from a single cell for a higher than 1C discharge rate?

2C , although i prefer .5C cause 2 hours is enough time , it should be able to get discharges as fast as draining the capacity in 1/2 of an hour, wihout any problem at all.
and i would not call that "maximum" it can do even more than that too, but it would be an OK rate for them.

there is tons of not only capacity data on them but graph data too. try the stickies, for li-ion TEST , and just find the fire in the mix
