McGizmo surefire mods

Hey McGizmo,
I recently recieved one of your Aleph lights and am very impressed.

Is there any chance of you doing a run of tailcaps to improve the form/function (read "shorter tailcap") of the surefire a2? I know the Surefire A2's dimensions are a departure from most of your work but I thought if anyone would/could then it would be you.

The A2 is a special size with a form of acme thread, all its own. The switch that SF makes works fine, IMHO and I have other stuff that I need to work on and investigate that frankly has better chance of bringing something different and useful to those interested; or at least I hope that will be the case! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The short answer is no, no chance. Sorry.
