McGizmo\'s PM6 - DB750 module

Just tried out my McModule with a R2H and a downboy 750 converter board supplied by McGizmo.

This is an expertly crafted and easily installed module. Just unscrew the old incandescent lamp and remove the stock reflector, and then screw in the McModule and install the modified reflector.

The R2H produces a bright, white beam with a tight hot-spot. The throw of this little masterpiece is unbelieveable.

The spot is brighter than the W3V McModule, although there is no comparison for total light output. (Remember this is a 1 watter vs. a 5 watter)

I am very pleased with this module and would highly recommend it to any PM6 owners.

I guess the modder knows what he is doing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yellowlaugh.gif LOL

Gee, thanks jdriller! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don't forget that you can also back off the reflector for more of a flood beam for use in near to meadium ranges. The hooded (reflector removed from head) and wide open candle mode are also very useful if one remembers that these modes are available. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As to me knowing what I'm doing, my wife can confirm that the jury is still out on that one.... (I'm hoping for a hung jury /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif )
