Metal Head here. I love metal, also listening since 12.

Like Thrash, Death Metal, Tech Death Metal, Groove, Deathcore, Djent, but I don't really know what subgenre many bands fall. As long as it rocks and is heavy and I like it, that's what matters, right? ✌️

Maybe many of the bands I like are not "Metal" 😆

(classic) Sepultura, Slayer, Exodus, Anthrax, Metallica, Testament, Havok, Slipknot, Suicidal Tendencies, Korn, Rage Against The Machine, Nirvana, Tool, Primus
Cannibal Corpse, Cattle Decapitation, Brujeria, Death, Archspire, Meshuggah, Amon Amarth, Slaughter To Prevail, Thy Art Is Murder, Black Tongue
Pantera, Six Feet Under
Garrobos, Arcadia Libre, Here Comes The Kraken, Transmetal, Leprosy (5 Mexican bands)
AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Heaven And Hell, Dio, Judas Priest, Accept, Ratt, (classic) Motley Crue, Prong, Nirvana, Skid Row, Quiet Riot

I believe most of these rock pretty hard 🎸

Again, I really don't care about the Metal subgenre, I just want it to rock 🤘

I did an unscientific study one afternoon using my fish to watch what they did while listening to certain songs.

While a song from the Charlie Brown Christmas sound track played they calmly swam about.

When Judas Priest was playing they crashed into each other.

When jazz fusion was playing they just froze. Seriously, they were montionless except the little fins moving to stop them from sinking.

Put on a Mr Bojangles cover by Sammy Davis Jr and they resumed calmy swimming around. Smashing Pumpkins "7" played and the fight resumed. I did not play anymore jazz fusion.
