i guess i'm confused as to what you're actually trying to name.
is it the name of the complete mod, or just parts?
like i said earlier, i don't really like it when people name a mod itself (brinkmann 3aa mod, mag mod, anything that can be easily done by others), because it gets to the point where some people will call any mod by that name, when the "name" is generally meant to infer creation by a particular modder.
as far as parts themselves, that's fine, and a good thing to do as it keeps things easily understandable.
there obviously isn't any official or even unofficial policy. that's just my take on things. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif
