Hello,

Yesterday I charged the eneloops in my 4 Fujiyamas (you know, that light that is the most beautiful in the Peak catalogue ) and found out that the 3 led blue was nearly empty and the 3 led red still had a lot of charge.

So, today I did a test with the Maha charger:
I made sure that all the cells (eneloops) were fully charged. Then I switched on all the lights for exactly one hour. Afterwards I charged again to find out how much charge was gone.

(next to the lights, you will see the charge that was gone in each of the two cells after one hour of burning)

Peak Fujiyama SS HP 1led snow (white): 101 and 106
Peak Fujiyama HA HP 3led snow (white): 220 and 223
Peak Fujiyama SS HP 3led red: 29 and 32 (!!!)
Peak Fujiyama SS HP 3led blue: 264 and 268

as a comparison: Peak Matterhorn HA HP 1led green: 93

This would mean that the 3led HP red would have a loooong runtime of more than 24 hours. (I must say it is a rather dim light)
Can someone please comment on this as I find this quite remarkable.

Thanks in advance,
Joris

Ps: the first cell always seems to require a tiny bit less charge. These are the cells, directly behind the head. Is this normal?

30 mah usage for 3 red leds. wow.
that will last forever on normal use.

i think red leds have a 2.4v forward voltage vs 3.6v of white leds..
so the driver doesnt needs to use much energy in the circuit.
a resistor might be all that's required in the red fuji.

It might be a little brighter on alkalines and I bet that red led fuji will get nice and bright on 2 lithium primary AAA's.
